Here's the New York Times's verdict on Robert's gig last week: "Robert
Plant, Led Zeppelin's singer, was one of the convention's keynote speakers,
and his performance on Thursday night with his current band, Strange
Sensation, rivaled the energy of any younger band. It was the perfect
triangulation of his three longtime fixations ? American blues, North
African rhythms and arabesques, and Celtic modes and ballads ? with his band
adding glimmers of modern electronics when it wasn't stomping through Led
Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love."
Cheers,
Stephen H
