Hey everyone,
Not sure if anyone had mentioned this before but I just though of
another (slight) Zep reference in a movie - "The Cure" (1995), with actors
Brad Renfro and Joseph Mazzello. Renfro is the same actor who played the
kid in "The Client" wearing the Zep shirt. I've read in interviews that he
plays guitar and is a huge Zep fan (especially Jimmy), so I don't think it's
any coincidence that Zep references showed up in 2 of his movies.
Anyway, I don't remember the lines exactly but... at some point in the
movie the 2 boys are floating down a river on a raft, and the conversation
goes something like this:
Mazzello: What does your dad do?
Renfro: You ever heard of a rock group called Led Zeppelin?
M: No
R: Well, they're really great. They've got this guitar played named Jimmy
Page....
M: Is that your dad?
R: No, but.... my dad sold him his car insurance... for a Pontiac Trans Am
Sorry I can't remember it exactly.....but something to that effect. Does
anyone else remember seeing this? Otherwise, it's a pretty cute movie.
