Unfortunately, if it's at all a major venue, he probably can't!
I don't think he can either, but I wonder if he *really* cares. Someone
help me out here, but just what was the last BIG Venue that Robert SOLO
filled up? I often wondered just how it must've felt being Robert Plant,
The Golden God, watching the beer carrying Who fans slowly filling up
the seats as you were letting loose the best "Wayeeeeeiii Down Inside"
you could muster ( add harmonizer effect as needed ). Must've been
pretty humbling.
Jimmy was pretty much the same on the Outrider tour, small venues.
The Omni, Atlanta
Sundome, Miami
The Summit, Houston
Starplex, Dallas, Texas
Inglewood Forum, Los Angeles
Coliseum, Oakland
Joe Louis Arena, Detroit
Brendan Byrne Arena, Meadowlands, East Rutherford
Nassau, NJ
The Centrum, Worcester
The Spectrum, Philadelphia
Coliseum, New Haven
Not exactly small venues!! Yeah, there were some I cut out, but Jimmy
did well filling these joints.
Put Page and Plant together and most people feel it's close enough to Zeppelin and
they go. The Unledded tour was one of the major grossing tours of '95.
