nice question.

I didn't go back to the original question, but was
this related to the US part of the tour? if you talk
about the entire 73 tour mention HAS to be make of
Gremany/Europe.
one could say the entire month of March, just pick a
concert. Vienna the 16th, Munich the 17th, Hamburg the
21st, Essen the 22nd, Offenburg the 24th. A case could
be made for any of these shows. Munich is a fav of
mine, the introduction in German is just SO cool, when
the announcer mentions up coming concerts in Munich
"... the wes humphery singers... booo's.. Emerson Lake
and Palmer.." huge cheers.. LOL

American Tour the board tapes are all pretty similar,
almost all end with Stairway. Mobile the 13th, Fort
Worth the 19th are great shows. 
My fav show is Seattle the 17th of July, I just
recieved a Winston remaster that combines the audience
and SB. it has that amazing intro where the announcer
says " the show which usually runs an hour and a
half,if you keep the fireworks down, keep down in
front, Led Zeppelin would like to reward you and play
about 3 hours" such a huge cheer it overloads the aud
tape.. SO COOL. a real good Over the Hills, a truely
amazing Dazed, where plant says "sometimes I would
like to be in the audience and watch". very long MD
and cool Ocean at the end.. Plant says it all at the
end.. "A good night for the four lads"

New York the 29th of July the last show of the tour is
amazing. the board version "Grande Finale" is a bad
board .. very flat. the aud tape is a 7 in my book,
but is listenable. Zep are on fire and the end of WLL
Bonham does this extra 2 minute+ solo that Page and
Plant at various times try to get him to end.. he just
keeps going and going and going.. amazing, amazing
show!
