Let's hope Letterman affords Plant the respect he deserves this time and 
actually has him on for more than just a song and a 10-second greeting.  I 
can recall shaking with anger when Bob apeared promoting Dreamland, as that 
gap-toothed nitwit bantered nonsensically with gawky has-been Geena Davis 
("C'mon, admit it... you're really smart, aren't you?") for just about the 
entire show.  I thought I was gonna explode at the disrespect shown.  I have 
not watched Letterman since (why bother, Family Guy reruns are more 
entertaining anyway).  Dave, here's your chance to gain back an occasional 
viewer!

Conan should be better.  Jimmy's appearance with the Black Crowes was great, 
you can tell Conan is a fan.

I'd love to see Plant do Saturday Night Live (another show I've long given 
up on), but the season will probably be over by the time he's in the States.
