MY THOUGHTS

Hello Everyone.
I mainly sit in the background and read most of the posts to FBO.
I must say that it is quite amusing at times and also can be informative and 
also
splattered with bullshit now and then but overall it is what it is. A 
mailing list
that salutes a band that has not performed in almost 25 years.
There are some really diverse members here.

Funny to read some of the recent remarks from some of you.
Giving your opinions and you don't even know what the hell your talking 
about.
We were not there with the 4 members back in 68 when Led Zeppelin formed
as a band. We truly do not know the full facts in regards to these 4 
gentlemen
and their friendship with each other back then or even today!
They were/are all individuals who worked very hard together to create and 
record
and perform music for themselves and the public and to earn a living.
How can anyone say that the talent of one member is owed to another member?
Or that one member would be nothing without the other?
Music is their lives. Pretty simple really.
In reality we only see and hear a small glimpse of what was and is between 
the
members of Led Zeppelin and their relationships with each other. To form 
opinions and pass judgement is everyones right to express their own thoughts 
I guess. But to make remarks
that speaks for the members is pure Bullshit.

I really don't give a damn what anyone thinks of me. I'm not typing this 
email to make friends
or enemies but just to express my thoughts as some of you do damn near on a 
daily basis to
FBO.
Which is cool in it's own way.
But then again if one of the members of Led Zeppelin did happen to read what 
this list
has to say about them or their music they might not have any interst to 
continue reading
any further.
I realize that the band has been gone for almost 25 years now....but 3 of 
them are still
around.
Whether you like their post Zeppelin music or not is your opinion and 
decision.
I cannot speak for them but I don't suppose they give a rats ass what I or 
you think or say
here anyways.

So if you have ill feelings about their present careers or dislike their 
looks or music or what they have to say then by all means do not buy it or 
go see it live.
Whatever one member may say to or about another member is really between the 
3 of them
and not us. Even if they say it in public!
Their past and present relationships with each other truly out weighs this 
mailing list or our
opinions.

Someone made a remark to FBO that I guess stirred me up a little to write 
this email.
It was in regards to Robert Plant from what I could tell from reading it:

Perspective???
Mr Plant donated 2 days of his life and talent to perform at the Bristol 
Academy
on Feburary 19th & 20th to help the victims of the Tsunami disaster through 
the Oxfam
Relief. (Which by the way met their funding goals with his and some other 
artists performances)
He also said that funds were desperately needed.
I do not recall any mention of this on this list?
I wonder how much did the great Zeppelin community from this list donate?
Not as much as Robert did on those 2 performances I'm sure.

Anyways..........
I guess I could have kept quiet and not even wrote this email, but then 
again I am a memeber
here and I too can have my say.
So to all of you who like to pop off at the mouth with every given 
opportunity and express
your opinions just remember this one thing.
ahhh Hell....nevermind.
It's now worth me even typing it.
