Beggar's banquet - MPC (minimal Plant Content)

Ohhh Carol,

But he *IS* the one currently on tour so of course he gets top billing in the recent disss-cussings. If that's what's on people's minds then so be it. BTW, I see you added to it as well so zing! So where is your non Plant content?!?! I got a great idea, how about telling us about the dvd project part deux and what we gots for it so far. And even better, how about this time the producers exclude PLANT and focus primarily on JPJ. I know there's not much but if a concerted effort was put into it some extra JPJ footage can be unearthed. For instance there was a clip of JPJ's 2000 Irving Plaza gig floating around back when...anyone have it or perhaps the entire show which I heard rumors of being pro shot ? Maybe one of the infiltrators of the list wants to share a copy with me...my confidentiality is guaranteed.

You scream about your boredom but do nothing to aleve it. I feel your pain, but gotta admit it's been fun busting on ol' leatherlungs. And until Jimmy 'just add color' Page gets up off his arse or JPJ comes outta seclusion he is and will remain the current focus. I KNOW for a fact that plenty of folks on FBO have seen Plant yet have seen only a handful , shit not even that, of reviews or pics posted here. Maybe the thrill is gone ?!?!?!?!?

OK how about this, I'll stop ranting about that and start something totally different......

After ending his gig with Neil Christian and the Crusaders Jimmy enrolled in Art College and attended for 18 months. The paint brush was said to be his second love so...Is there any Jimmy Page original artwork out there ?!?!

Alot of the text used in Page's history comes out of ZigZag magazine...does it still exist ? Are there any collectors out there with any original copies that contain the full length Page interviews ? I'd love to read them other than the excerpts often cited in Zep ( Page) bios.

Would you believe that in John Bonham's first band, Terry Webb and the Spiders, they used to all wear purple jackets with velvet lapels and string ties with greased back hair while the singer wore a gold lame jacket ? Can you even picture Bonzo like that ? Inspiration for the future beatnik look ?

Strange path crossings.... Jimmy Page played on Jett Harriss and Tony Meehan's #1 single "Diamonds" - the first #1 Jimmy played on but shortly after John Paul Jones was hired on and stayed with them for 18 months till their demise.

Deep trivia - Why did Page turn down his first offer to join the Yardbirds ????

3/24/75 history is made. LZ1 through PG are all in the Billboard charts. No other rock artist in history has had six albums on the chart at the same time.

Happy ? I am.
