Re: Plant wanting Zep to continue?

Plant has touched on this in other interviews. He and Jones never
really got along, and he admired him as a producer but felt he was
capable of much more and taking the easy way out by being a producer,
just working on other people's work, rather than take risks himself.

Plant, on the other hand, was taking those risks, and was really
tired of people questioning his every move.

He and Jimmy had played on each other's albums recently, so seeing if
they could still write as a team was a good next step. To ask if JPJ
should have been included is like saying to a divorced person, well,
if you can stand being around your ex for dinner, why not have the
MIL over, too? One step at a time, folks.

I volunteer as a horse trainer on occasion, rehabbing bad ones. You
take things slowly, one step at a time. Rush stuff, and you get
nothing, and may regress the process. Rock musicians aren't much
different. I still don't see why fans keep trying to second guess
the whole process. Let them alone, and if it happens, it will
happen. Our trying to force things does nothing, and may even cause
some hooves to dig in and totally refuse to move, and just "turn off"
as we call it in the business. Give them their head, show them it's
fun again, and learn to work along with them, and both of you have
fun. Let the guys have their fun. If they decide to work together
they will, and we can enjoy that, too.

Why not discuss what cool things are happening right now--there are
loads. Much more fun to discuss what is, than what may never be....

:D
