We've actually got a little e-mail circle going to debate exactly which
shows we should try to hit. Some of us want to try to see the two NYC
shows... I've got nothing against The City; I love Manhattan, but I'm not
sure I want to wait in line outside (and then stand inside the venue all
through the opening act etc.) for general admission. It was great seeing
Plant from the first couple of rows at the Hammerstein in '02, but I'm not
sure I want to go through all that again... "at my age." Seriously, Von's
post a while back about the Oklahoma show reminded me very much of the
disadvantages that come with attending a show in the "pit"--and NYC's
"grrr-hrrs" and "woo-hoos" make for a rough crowd sometimes.
So I think it'll be Boston for me (which looks like it'll be reserved
seating everywhere--can anyone corroborate this?). Fingers crossed for
