It's turning out to be a favorite of many, that's for sure!

For those who may not have noticed, TBL are running a "Your Top Ten" from
the DVD and HtWWW, so get your votes in, folks! I'm betting "The Ocean" is
going to be way up there.

It was suggested by another listmember--wish I could recall who--that
perhaps the song was too funloving and frivolous compared to the rest of the
songs used in the movie. I tend to agree that this may be the explanation.
Most of the songs featured in the film were on the heavy, epic/dramatic side
(except Rock and Roll) and were intended to help build the band's mystique
and grandeur. And they did a great job of it. Just think of how all our
personal impressions of the band members have up to now mostly been informed
by the larger-than-life personas that were projected in the film. Now we
have more imagery to work with.
