I think it is both minor tape noise, and faint
clapping by the audience.

If you want to talk about a really botched live album,
get Black Sabbath's Past Lives.  The Paris Theatre
section has very prominent clicks and pops.  My
bootleg tape doesn't even have those.  My sweet satan,
who ever compiled that offical release should shake
their heads.

Oh, and not to forget, there's also Yardbirds-esque
bullfighter cheering that was added over.  A pretty
good document to begin with, and it was f-ed up.
