I forgot to mention, in comparing the old TSRTS movie
and the restored footage on the new LZDVD - the step
up in improvement is similar to the reissue of David
Bowie's Spiders From Mars The Motion Picture. The old
print that was made available in the early 80s was
very grainy, dark, problems with the camera (a very
on-the-fly recording), and muddled sound. If you're a
fan of the Mick Ronson era of Bowie's career, the new
DVD is one to get.
