Packaging? Who cares!

I'm reading all this shit about packaging. Why??? Are you all sitting
there looking at the package or listening to the damn thing. Come on
people. Who cares how it looks. They tried to give it a 'old western'
look and thats it. If you want the extravagant packaging, go buy a
shitty sounding Tarantura title and have a nice time looking at the
packaging and wondering why the music sounds like crap. This is the real
deal. It may have some of this from LB and some of that from LA but its
all done so beautifully that what I hear is what counts. I hate it when
fans pick apart anything that Jimmy put his heart and soul into
producing for us. Don't forget that last statement....FOR US!! THE
FANS!!

I know, I know. All this 'fan' stuff is going to start another
thread.."Well, if Jimmy really wanted to do it for the fans, he would
have released one concert and left it all alone". Well, guess what,
Jimmy is a perfectionist and he did what he did cause he wants it to be
the best performance from beginning to end just like a typical '72 gig.
There might be missing parts that we wanted from the WLL (Heartbreak
Hotel, Slowdown) but there might be more to it than just copyright $$ or
maybe he just didn't like the performance of those songs. Who knows,
whatever reasons he had, he had and what we have is still the best damn
live album (cd) that I have ever heard that isn't a bootleg. :)
