When the moons of meepzorp are in tune
that's when I go dans la lune.
That's how I feel folks. In just a few short hours I will be walking into the
Loews
Cinemax in NYC and it feels like it's the first Zeppelin concert I ever went to
all
over again. I feel like a little kid. The anticipation is overwhelming...the
rapid
heartbeat, the sweaty palms, the pit in the stomach, that feeling of having to
pee
non-stop...this is probably the most exciting thing I've done outside of
getting married.
I've had the dvd & cds in hand since Sam Goody's opened their doors this am. I
mean I
just couldn't sleep last night and as soon as I dropped my kid off at
pre-school I made
a bee line for the store. And I've decided to not open the dvd yet and just
wait till
I'm bowled over by the big screen showing tonite. Then I'll come home, fire off
one to
the list, open up a Ballentines in honour of Bonzo, move the recliner into
prime veiwing
position and then watch it all over and over and over again till my eyes
finally shut down.
Looking forward to meeting some of the other list members tonite. My wife
thinks we're all
loonies. I simply told her "yes, yes we are. And you're married to one!" I hope
I don't embarass
her or myself tonite.
Camera's loaded with 400 iso, new batteries in the digital, sharpie pen for
possible autograph
( Oh how I hope the opportunity comes about!) and little notebook for show
notes. Have
I forgotten anything...oh yeah, better pull the brain out of the embalming
fluid.
6 hours till show time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
