sorry for not quoting anything, aolhell requires too much time to remove the 
html factor, at least for me right now. Here is what I did once in the 
past...primitive but effective.
covered all windows with foil, no light in the house. broke out the 
multi-colored strobe light with a sensor so it goes along to the music. Bought 
a giant 
black posterboard, tons of those yellow bulbs, inserted them into the poster 
board to say LED ZEPPELIN (umm fire hazard..must be careful) placed it 
carefully center stage so to speak. Fog machine..but umm that was kinda SMOKEY, 
you 
really need a small fan on low to blow the "fog" out of your face! Black lights 
galore. Seated everyone in a semi-circle in front of the "center stage" 
area...of course this was basically a live cd party, gives a nice "concert" 
effect...you can put a few still shots up on the screen. However we hooked up 
the 
playstation and kept the volume down, put in another live cd, and put it on the 
psychedelia setting.. As for provisions...haha..well I have seen plant drink 
alot of carona, Jim-Jack Daniels, but we had little ice cubes shaped like the 
various symbols...this is kinda difficult but it was a last minute thought..so 
I 
ran out, bought a bunch of styro-foam, drew and cut out or dug out the symbol 
shapes, lined them with foil, then filled with water and stuck in the 
freezer...oh ya..on a baking sheet. Takes awhile to get enough, so you may want 
to 
start that ahead of time. Everyone basically brung thier own "provisions" some 
were shared..hehe. Gotta keep that fog out of your face. Anyways...that's what 
I 
did..ONCE. I am sure someone else out there can be more creative than that.
My advice, do something like mentioned above and listen to the cd first, let 
everyone get good and whatever, then blow them away with the real listen and 
watch dvd!
Just a thought. Hell I might do that again. Got great reviews from the 
friends!
P.S..you can either use those little yellow christmas or nightlight type 
bulbs(tons of them) or those yellow bug bulbs..lol.
Oh ya...forgot I had 3 strings of Les Paul lights strung up in the bathroom 
area, for lighting.
