Yes David - you nailed it.  This is Super8 footage of Austrailia 1972.
For the DVD, they sync'd up a bunch of quick shots and changes to make the
imagery match a '72 live audio version of Immigrant Song.  This is what
they call the "Immigrant Song - Splodge Edit".  The idea may sound
quirky, but the effect is very well done.  I'm not certain of the city of
the video footage, but it is NOT the common Sidney 2/6/72 stuff.
