"Keith DeGroot" was the singer on the infamous (and ubiquitous) "No 
Introduction Necessary" album.  His stage name was actually Gerry Temple, 
and I'm pretty sure he's the same Gerry Temple who recorded with Joe Meek 
in the early '60s.  For a long time it was rumored that he was killed in a 
robbery c. 1970, but he turned up alive and well in 1992.
