It doesn't have to be called a Led Zeppelin reunion...
because it can't be Zep without Bonzo. Too bad it
can't just be three old friends playing or recording
some music together.
I bet Page, Plant and Jones could still create one
hell of a studio album if given a chance without all
the Led Zeppelin hoopla and comparisons.
On another note I'm often late in catching up with
peoples newest albums. I got Jeff Beck's You Had
It Coming CD from 2000 awhile back and Holy Crap
what a good album...the songs Earthquake and Nadia
are worth the price alone...but the whole thing is
quite good. If Page, Plant and Jones don't do
anything I'd love to see Jeff Beck and John Paul
Jones make a CD. Only problem is they might argue
over which one of them gets to handle the lead
vocals 8)

Concerning Jonesy f'n with people's heads about a
reunion. Here are a few direct quotes from the recent
BBC interview.
"Without Bonzo there isn't a Led Zeppelin. There just
can't be. Cause it's so much a part of him."
Then when confronted with the Reunion rumors question
less than 10 seconds later he replies.
"Well, you know, you can never say never about
anything. Maybe we could all get together if everybody
felt it was a good idea on the same day. Ha,ha,ha. You
never know."
Talk about open-ended! It sounds to me as if he would
be up for it if Page and Plant approached him. Alas,
this will never happen.
Plant thinks the idea is a "sleeze bag question" and
that "we have to get past playing scrabble first but I
never did buy the game". Nuff said there huh folks?!!
Another great quote from this interview, this time on
the topic of Zep's Sex Drugs R&R let's have a party
attitude.
Jimmy: "Yeah there's a lot of truth to the stories.
Some have been exaggerated and some have yet to be
told. Ha,ha,ha."
Classic!
This entertaining interview can still be found in Real

On a final note, IMO the "Reunion" will always be
hinted at but never happen. It's inevitable that it
would never live up to people's expectations, in so
many respects and I think Plant is correct in thinking
so. Look at how Knebworth was received.
Bottom Line: The glory days are gone but my were they
grand!

probably not, but i wouldn't put it past them
(especially Jonesy!) to be purposefully cryptic and
toy with semantics.
