No, that is dogma.  And dogma from some fans, and not

That is a fact.  Without one of them it is no longer

Bullshit.  It is perfectly acceptable to replace a
deceased band member with a replacement.  That
replacement may not be as good as the original, but
considering the band in question, they should be
benefit to a very high quality pool of replacement
candidates.

That's your opinion.  Some would call Page/Plant/Jones
+ drummer replacement "Led Zeppelin."  The '95 and '98
tours were ESSENTIALLY "Led Zeppelin" reunion tours,
and both didn't have JPJ.  Imagine those tours with
JPJ and a legit replacement on drums?
