Hey, what has the artist's integrity got to do with my enjoyment of music?
It's not
like the Zeppelin boys were poster boys for ethical behavior.
I think most people would rank Off the Wall and Thriller as both more important
and
just plain better albums than Shaken & Stirred. If you don't like R&B funk
stuff, then
you won't agree.
I mention Shaken & Stirred cause I saw a video from it the other day on VH1
Classics or
something, and it reminded me of how much I hated that album. Dreamland is my
favorite
Plant album, followed by Pictures at Eleven and Honeydrippers.
And I don't count Coda among 80's stuff! I don't even really consider at an
"album", more
of a "release". Too incoherent a mix of stuff, as opposed to this upcoming
HTWWW. Nice.
