I wonder if all the involved bands are truly in support of this idea.  I 
wouldn't be surprised if Clear Channel told them, "You better go along with 
this or you'll discover that your songs aren't being played on Clear 
Channel stations anymore."

It must suck to be an up-and-coming band these days, having virtually no 
leverage against the "system".  Where's Peter Grant when you need him??
