Maybe Jimmy's not out of touch

Maybe what he said is being taken too literally.  Perhaps, what he means
is that it would be better to tour today, based on what they are and who
they are today, and not what they were or what they sounded like in 1972.

Let's remember, Jimmy is the one who has always been up to doing the
Zeppelin songs (Stairway included). Jimmy is the one who spent countless
hours putting this dvd/cd project together, and Jimmy is the one who has
had to put up with Robert's ego.  

Maybe, Jimmy is just trying to keep things "real", because if they were to
tour today, it would be natural that people would want to draw comparisons
to the sound of the new release (and that sound is 30 years gone now).

That's not to say that Jimmy Page doesn't want to play the songs or tour.

Just my 2 cents.
