The Bravo D1 is a fantastic player for $200, including a DVI output for
those of you with the TV to handle them (a year or two old--check your
manual). Samsung also has a player with DVI output, but I don't know of any
other player that has that yet.
IMHO, you haven't seen DVD until you've seen it over DVI instead of a
component cable connection. The reason is because it's an all-digital path
from disc to TV, as opposed to the signal being converted from digital to
analog like it is with a component cable.
I don't work for V Inc., and I don't own a Bravo D1 myself, but I've seen it
work, and it's amazing. It's not the best-built player in the world
physically, but it's got a ton of capability, and it really performs very
well--way better than even the well-regarded Panasonic RP91 and some more
expensive Denon players for way more cash.

One review: http://www.projectorcentral.com/bravo_d1.htm
Excerpt:
"We put the Bravo D1 up against the Denon DVD-3800 we have on hand.
(Noteworthy detail: retail price of the Denon is $1199, or six times that of
the Bravo D1). The result? When using the native 480p output, the Bravo D1
delivered an image that was very subtly sharper than the Denon. But more
importantly it was noticeably more stable with fewer artifacts and less
jitter. No surprise however. These are precisely the benefits you would
expect to get from the elimination of the D/A conversions.
Our conclusion: with all its idiosyncrasies, we will keep the Bravo D1 in
the lab as a permanent resource. And when anyone around here is settling
down to view a movie for pleasure on a projector that is DVI-enabled, the
Bravo D1 will clearly be the DVD player of choice. We will use the Denon for
non-DVI projectors to get a good analog signal."
My $.02,
Dan
