Good Luck in making a fair trade with this title. I
just wish the DVD-r RW media was a lot more
economical.
As I've had some nice conversations with someone else
who has collected live CD's, Celebration seem to
release a lot of products that can be easily upgraded.
This video has already been upgraded 3 times on DVD
(Akashic, Watchtower and Cosmic Energy), since
Celebration put it out.
I have a DVD-r of this title too. All I can say is
it's a waste of shelf space here. I can't even use it
for an audio CD as they added some digital distortion
sound effects on the auudio of that DVD.
Unfortunately, Celebration/Electric Magic have put out
a lot of "White Elephant" titles that become less
desireable as other upgrades of the same show (and
same source recording) appear on other labels. Some of
the other shows that this has happpened with would be
Leicester 71 and the Houston/Denver SBD's.
I know a lot of people who were reluctant to buy the
Latter Visions DVD because of this.
I guess the point of my post is:
I don't think the FBO list should be used as a place
to dump obsolete and/or defective copies of shows.
Some people may get annoyed at taking you up on your
offer and find out that they could have had a much
better version of the show if they took part in the
DVD tree of the show.
Sometimes it's best in the long run to "bite the
bullett" on the DVD's.
Take Care
