"No, the Charlie we know walks-a like-a this..."

Greetings FBOers...

>>You pollute the gene pool with any of those damned things and I'll personally
>>hunt you down
and hand you your ass.<<

JR, my wife insists that I don't have one, so you may be out of luck. But I
get the point
nevertheless :-)

Heard two cuts from the soon-to-be-releases HTWWW, Black Dog and Dancing Days.
The sound was
clear and strong, the performances had great energy, typical of those concert
touring days.
My belly button is puckering and unpuckering in excitement for the May 27th
released.

A few here had some thoughts about a possible Led Zeppelin reunion and the
comment Page made
to the effect that it would be wrong to get back together and tour on the
laurels of music
they played 30 years ago. I would love to see these guys get back together
(Dave Grohl on
drums would be a good fit, incidentally, as I think he plays a lot of Bonham
"patterns"
in many Nirvana songs), but my hats off to Page for showing respect for both
the fans and
the music?something they should have done when the idea of using "Rock 'n'
Roll" for Cadillac
commercials was first brought to them. These guys don't need the money, and
there's something
just not right about a reunion tour that sells tickets just on the memories of
what once was
Led Zeppelin but can never be without Bonham. These reunion tours that seem to
be all the rage
these past few years, remind me of many world champion boxers in history who
never knew when to
step out of the ring and never get back in again. The damage that they
afflicted on themselves
by boxing so late in their careers leaves a greater impact on you than does the
history that
saw them become champions.

Anyway, just my opinion?

David
