Just a note to say something I have been trying to post since the thread 
started, but keep getting booted when I try to send it :-(
Anyways...I thought I read that Plant said he made his own symbol up? I find 
that kinda hard to believe(I am not accusing him of lying either)...I say 
this because on my class ring, I chose the symbol for Knowledge and Wisdom, 
and the symbol was a feather, what I don't recall tho, is if it had a circle 
around it in the book, however, when I got my ring, it was encased in a 
circle. I had no idea about Led Zep back then. The local family medical 
center uses the same symbol on thier sign as JB used. I see JPJ's symbol 
alot...the celtic thing, in fact I bought a ring sometime ago, with that 
symbol on it. I would think that collectively the symbols represent Led 
Zeppelin, each as individuals within a group, however alone, I don't see how 
they could be copyrighted, except for Page's symbol. Kinda difficult to 
copyright an ancient symbol. Kinda like copyrighting a swastika, or a smiley 
face or something. But I really haven't a clue.
Over the weekend I went to Barnes & Noble, the man I talked too, was excited 
about the new Led Zep issue coming, he said they hadn't gotten it yet, that 
he would know, because he would be the first to buy one. He also said that he 
will get a new shipment of European Import magazine TODAY, and probably have 
it on the shelf by noon tomorrow. I don't know how many copies will be there, 
but if anyone who doesn't have one, would like one...I will buy all the 
copies(if they actually arrive) and we can work out the repayment and 
shipping etc.
Also over the weekend, I recieved a couple of Cosmic Energy Dvd's...yippee, 
Plant/Page Highlights of the 98 European Tour, and Jimmy Page 1988, Raving 
Arizona...kinda kewl! I think it is the most I have ever heard Page talk! 
Still waiting on Seattle 77, can't wait!!
