Jeremy, you're all wet!
First off, Keith Relf was definitely NOT playing guitar in his bathtub! He
had built a small recording studio into one of the rooms of his
house....but the amp wasn't properly grounded....and when he plugged his
guitar into it on May 14, 1976, he was electrocuted. The shock probably
wasn't strong enough to kill the average healthy person, but Relf had been
weakened by a pulmonary condition (plus years of drug use). He was
discovered by his son, who thought he had fallen asleep with his headphones
on...
Second, Sandy Denny died in 1978, not 1976! She suffered a cerebral
hemorrhage after falling down a flight of stairs at a friend's house on
April 18, 1978. She remained in a coma for several days before dying on
April 21st.
Later,
