is ZOSO copyrighted? T shirt question

I have a buddy who owns a print shop, and I was
thinking of printing up some runes shirts. Of course
it would not be cost effective if no one wanted any,
so I'd like some imput from the list. I was thinking
of doing a run of shirts for each symbol, white on
black, nothing else on them,just a large symbol on the
front. I guess I would do one at a time, sell the run
then do the next symbol.
I have looked at the symbols on all kinds of art and
albums and art, and have not noticed a copyright sign
anywhere, does anyone know if they are copyrighted by
the band?
