As for my wife...

I used to tell a lot of stories about my wife and her thoughts about my passion
for Zeppelin.
Now she'll never be a Zeppelin lover as I am, but there's no doubt that if she
were to ever
be approached by Monty Hall on the streets and for $1000 was asked, "What group
once had an
unnamed album often referred to as 'Four Symbols'?", by-gummit she'd give him
the right answer
and I would be a grand richer--uh, that is, "we" would be a grand richer.
Just this morning, I caught her sighing as Page and the boys were winding down
on DAC from
5/19/73. I mean, let's face it--no respectable Led Zeppelin fan would ever
sigh at this jam
session. She looked at me and said, "It's just so boring and long..." I
almost drove off
the road. Fortunately for her, she had a good grip on the seat and I wasn't
able to push her
out of the car. Once I settled down and put my hands back on the wheel, I
looked at her
with eyes wider than plates and exclaimed, "Boring! Page, Bonham and
Jones--boring! Woman,
never use the word 'boring' in a Led Zeppelin comment again. So shall it be
written,
so shall it be done!" It was worth the multiple "titty twisters" I received
throughout
the remainder of the drive :-)
Indeed, I love my wife...but she has some serious Zeppelin issues which she
must face and
resolve. Until then, she better keep wearing that seat belt as tight as she's
able to strap
it on.
Stay well everyone,
David
