Complete bullshit

One little blurb out of the born again mess caught my eye.

>>â??...â??Herne the Hunter,â?? that horned phantom which was supposed to haunt
>>the royal
forest of Windsor, the name Herne appearing as a corruption of Cerne, or
Cernunnos.â??48
Remember also that Robert Plant called himself â??the Hunter,â?? at 6:28 into
â??How
Many More Times,â?? off Led Zeppelinâ??s first album, Led Zeppelin. â??<<

Next you're gonna say "you need schoolin, baby I ain't foolin" is Plant saying
"You need
to learn about the wisdom of Aleister Crowley". Don't you know anything about
Zeppelin?
Plant quotes old blues songs constantly, and the above is from a song called
"The Hunter",
and what little Robert Anthony is hunting are girlies, like he likes to have
sex with them.
Do you even know what that is?

Here's another point (and why do I bother?): the Aleister Crowley fan in the
band was
Jimmy Page, not Robert Plant. Plant wrote the lyrics to STH, not Jimmy Page.
Ergo your
theory is based on a false assumption and inherently flawed.

IF you must analyze the song in this way, then analyze the WHOLE song, not just
one verse.
So let's play along and assume that verse 8 (infinity turned on its side! How
clever of
the mighty S8N!) is talking about temptation. But then Robert states "yes
there are 2 paths
you can go on, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road
you're on".
2 paths, Heaven and Hell, and if you're going down the road to Hell you can
always get off
that road. And let's not forget the last bit:
"and as we wind on down the road"
as we progress down the road to Hell
"our shadows taller than our souls"
shades of Hell dwarfing our souls, which will be consumed
"there walks a lady we all know"
there's this lady we all know--the Virgin Mary
"who shines white light and wants to show"
who comes from Heaven to show you something
"how everything still turns to gold"
you can be redeemed
"and if you listen very hard"
so pay attention
"the tune will come to you at last"
hear the music of the angels, Seraphic Choir or whatever
"when all is one and one is all"
be one with God, who is all
"to be a rock and not to roll"
be steadfast in faith like the Apostle Peter (the Rock) and not roll along
faithless and
guideless into the maw of Satan! Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Of course, I wish I believed as you do that Plant is clever enough to write in
one 7 minute
sitting while baked on hash a treatise on selling your soul to the Devil
(or a paean to redemtion), but despite all the hours I've spent listening to
Zeppelin
I lack that faith. Pretty weak spell he's cast then, eh? Anyway, somehow I
think that
Plant's main focus was on getting laid, not Satanic indoctrination. So please
shut the fuck up.
