I don't have too much to add to Mr. Gilson's critique
of Thomasfriend's seriously flawed thesis. I might
add that Robert and not Jimmy wrote the lyrics, so
Crowley's theories cannot be automatically read into
them. Also, lots of the imagery in Stairway can be
found in "Tintern Abbey" by Wordsworth (which is on
the same theme that Mr. Gilson points out - return to
a simpler, more rural way of life).
I also see this as spam, since Thomasfriend is writing
a book (apparently publishing vast portions of it on
the FBO list :(
