â??WHISPERED,â?? â??TUNE,â?? â??PIPER,â?? and â??REASONâ??
The Seventh Verse of â??Stairway to Heaven,â?? is the point at which we begin
to delve
into the core of the song; the central part of its teaching. Robert Plant sings
that
the message of the verse is being â??whisperedâ?? to the listener. Who is doing
the
whispering? It is being done by Led Zeppelinâ??s â??Whispering Wind.â?? In the
world of
the occult, and this can be seen in the game â??Dungeons and Dragonsâ?? as
well, the
â??Whispering Windâ?? is known as a vehicle by which you are able to send a
message from
one point to another. The music is the vehicle or medium in question. What is
the message
of this specific verse? It is that if one tries to make contact with the
musicâ??s hidden
message, then the Devil is going to lead the seeker to absolute truth. Plant
sings, in effect,
that the message â??whispered,â?? is â??ifâ?? the seekers after truth (because
they are the
only ones who will) â??call,â?? or try to make contact with â??Stairway to
Heavenâ??sâ??
â??tune,â?? or hidden message (hidden truth from Led Zeppelinâ??s perspective
and hidden lie
from the Christianâ??s), â??thenâ?? a certain â??Piperâ?? is going to
â??leadâ?? the seekers
on a spiritual journey into the domain of â??reason.â?? The first thing I want
you to notice
about this verse is that itâ??s an â??if-then clause,â?? meaning only those who
seek will be
led toward reason. Many will say that this is only my interpretation of the
verse, and the
entire song as well, but if you read on you will find that â??myâ??
interpretation is the truth.
When you â??callâ?? someone on the telephone, what are you trying to do? You
are trying to make
contact with them. In the context of this verse, making contact with, and
figuring out what
this specific â??tuneâ?? is, happens to be the same thing. In this verse,
â??tuneâ?? means
hidden message. As you will see, the hidden message is, in its entirety, spread
throughout all
of Led Zeppelinâ??s music. They are simply making reference to it in this song
for the purpose
of teaching and guiding the seekers. If the seekers after truth try to make
contact with, or
figure out what the hidden message is, then a â??Piperâ?? (Satan) is going to
â??leadâ?? them
into the domain of â??reason,â?? which is described by Aleister Crowley as
absolute truth.
How do I know that this â??Piperâ?? is the Devil? The answer to that is simple.
The next
verse makes it clear that once a soul led by this Piper arrives at
â??reason,â?? a certain
â??forestâ?? is going to â??echoâ?? from the sound of â??laughter.â?? In Greek
mythology,
Pan the Piper is the god of the forest. Aleister Crowley makes it clear that
Pan is simply
the Devil, as are all other gods worshiped on earth, except Jesus. If you have
not read the
other chapters leading to this one, I advise you to do so. Nevertheless, we
will take these
concepts by the numbers. Beginning in the seventh verse, we will start at the
point of Lucifer,
the Devil, and Satan, created to be the highest Archangel and the Piper, or
maker of music.
In the Old Testament Book of â??Ezekiel,â?? which is the name of the prophet
who wrote it
under the influence of the Holy Spirit, we read Godâ??s description and
condemnation of
Lucifer: â??Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was
thy covering,
the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the
sapphire, the
emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy
pipes was
prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed
cherub that
covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou
hast walked
up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways
from the day
that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of
thy merchandise
they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:
therefore I will cast
thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering
cherub, from
the midst of the stones of fire.â?? Ezekiel 28: 13-16 (KJV) I already presented
my commentary
on this passage in chapter two, so I shall not reiterate. Compare the concept
of the many
colored Archangel and his pipes with the following Crowley quote, from his
epistle,
The Vision and the Voice; that he included in his Equinox as one of the visions
he encountered:
â??And now there comes an Angel, to hide the tablet with his mighty wing. This
Angel has all
the colours mingled in his dress; his head is proud and beautiful; his
headdress is of silver
and red and blue and gold and black, like cascades of water, and in his left
hand he has a
Pan-pipe of the seven holy metals, upon which he plays. I cannot tell you how
wonderful the
music is, but it is so wonderful that one only lives in oneâ??s ears; one
cannot see anything
any more.â??23 The Devil was created with the power to compose music; the
concept is presented
by the Holy Bible and Aleister Crowley; that Lucifer is the piper, the maker of
music.
Crowley wrote it again in Moonchild, already presented in the previous chapter,
but here
it is again for emphasis: â??...amid a cloud of
angels bearing silver trumpets, came one with great height of brow, and eyes of
golden flashes.
In him the whole heaven rocked with harmonious music...â??24 Crowley was saying
that the
â??whole heaven rocked with harmonious musicâ?? that came from the one angel.
Again, Lucifer
is the celestial composer of music; the piper. In Pacts With the Devil, S.
Jason Black and
Christopher S. Hyatt make Crowleyâ??s conception of the Devil being Pan, the
god of the forest,
with pipes, clear as crystal: â??Thanks - once again - to remarks by Aleister
Crowley, many
people, especially â??neo pagans,â?? assert that the Devil is simply Pan. They
say that the
early Christians took this friendly forest god, with his pipes and perpetual
(sexual expletive meaning erection), and turned him into the Devil. They go
further and state
that there is no Devil, that He is purely a Christian invention.â??25 Those who
have read
the chapters leading up to this one will know that although Crowley describes
the Devil as an
angel, he believes he is god as well; and as god he dwells in a supernatural
forest, although
he has manifested himself in forests on earth. In his book, The Book of Wisdom
or Folly,
Crowley calls the Devil â??â?¦Our Lord Pan...â??26 To ensure that this concept
of Pan as
god of the pipes and the forest is not thought to be exclusive to Crowley, here
again is
Joseph Kasterâ??s description of Pan, from Putnamâ??s Concise Mythological
Dictionary:
â??PAN - A Greek nature and fertility deity, originally native to Arcadia. As
such he is
god of goatherds and flocks and is usually represented as a very sensual
creature; a shaggy
human to the loins with pointed ears, goatâ??s horns and legs. He wanders among
the mountains
and valleys, pursuing nymphs or leading them in their dances. He is quite
musical and is the
inventor of the Syrinx, or â??Pipes of Pan.â??â??27 Because the subsequent
verse in â??Stairway
to Heavenâ?? mentions a â??forest,â?? and Led Zeppelin are Crowley disciples,
in conjunction
with all the other evidence shown up to this point (and in my mind, the
evidence that will
be shown), it is conclusive to the non-partial, objective reader, that this
â??Piperâ??
presented in the Seventh Verse of â??Stairway to Heavenâ?? has to be the Devil.
Robert Plant
(the same man who commanded the fans to sell their souls to the Devil in the
Led Zeppelin film),
in the Seventh Verse, sings, if the seekers after truth â??callâ?? or try to
make contact
with Led Zeppelinâ??s â??tune,â?? a â??Piper,â?? the Devil, is going to
â??leadâ?? the
seekers into the domain of â??Reason.â?? Plant is giving the credit for the
listenerâ??s
discovery of â??Reasonâ?? to the Devil. Keep that in mind. That means that the
Devil is
responsible for Led Zeppelinâ??s â??tune;â?? the hidden message. At this point
the word
â??Reasonâ?? is going to be defined. The resources are quotes from Eliphas Levi
and
Aleister Crowley. Again, I want to mention that the man on Led Zeppelinâ??s
fourth album sleeve,
or booklet in the case of the cd, reading with a spade beard, looks just like
Eliphas Levi,
and Levi was famous for his work in London, which is printed behind his head.
In examining
these concepts on reason, please remember that Crowley claimed to be Levi
reincarnated, and Page
and company are his disciples.
