<<My buddy went to the 7/24 show and

the 23rd, too. Another friend says she went to the 23rd show and Lynyrd
Skynyrd played. Anyone?>>
Derringer & Priest played both days. Priest was booed on at
least one of the days and it's interesting to note that years
later Plant, during an interview, pointed to a powter
of Priest and said something to the effect of, "If I was in
any way responsible for that I apologize."
I remember going to see priest and thinking that they would
be ok if they'd drop the choreographed "big hair bounce."
Almost as lame as Ted Nugents' nightly "I love all that
(insert city) pussy!" And old Ted even reused that line
on seperate tours several years apart from each other!
Absolutely $#@%ing lame IMHO.
For what it's worth I heard that Derringer took the show
and having seen Derringer right around the same time period
I have to say I believe it.
