Hee, hee, hee. Wishful thinking my friend. From some friends of friends
(not real reliable but still as close to being with the band as I will ever
get) I was told that by 75 the drugs had worked their way into the band to
the point it was a problem and by 77 they had virtually destroyed the band.
Jimmy was on smack full time and Bonzo was drinking so much he had vomit
buckets set up by his drum kit. I have to imagine it hurt their playing.
Just listen to some of the abysmal 77 shows.

I hear a rumor about an incident in 77 in maybe Phoenix too. It could have
been some other western city too. I'm not sure what it was exactly but it
was Jimmy in some sort of OD. I have not taken the time to research it and
if it was before, during or after the show. Anyone have any info?
Thanks for posting my Zep minded friend.
