Sorry for beating a dead horse but...
I've continued to listen to 5/18/75 and I think I should clarify some points
which I made a couple days ago. The performance itself is pretty good. I
think that it is the calm and polite audience that tricked me into thinking
it's a lackluster show. As I listened to the piano solo in "No Quarter" I
actually heard one fan shhhing another, who took heed.
I must just not be used to the European crowds which seem to show more
respect at times. However I still love the crazed American fans that feed
off the energy of the show. Which brings me to a topic which was on this
list some time ago. What are the differences between American and European
crowds at Zeppelin gigs? Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.
