Plant on Letterman

I haven't seen any discussion of Bob's appearance on Letterman last week. I
must say I was dismayed that all we got was a performance and the lame
"Thanks for coming by" at the end of the show. I thought for sure there
would be at least one interview segment before or after the song, like when
Jimmy was on Conan O'Brien.
I have to believe that Robert wanted it that way. I find it hard to believe
they would slight "a true rock and roll legend" with the same treatment
afforded a new singer-songwriter no one has ever heard of.
If that's not the case, I'd sure have a bone to pick with the gap-toothed
dimwit. To waste SO much time with the now completely pointless "Know Your
Current Events", that moron throwing a football at an Xmas tree, the
excruciating Geena Davis (who actually lulled me to sleep - thank God I woke
up!) and even blabbing about Ted Koppel at the expense of speaking with
Plant is just inexcusable.
Anyone need a ticket for Hammerstein Ballroom tomorrow? I have an extra -
the Missus has decided she doesn't like general admission gigs. This after
I buy them!
