I can't speak on anyone else's behalf, but personally
I continue to urk (sic) on FBO to keep an eye out for
old timers from the DG days. Most recently reconnected
with Ed Grabianowski aka Ed Zeppelin. I've posted four
or five times in the past six or seven months. Once to
respond to a cheap shot, to apologize for it shortly
thereafter and to post a "make nice" trivia contest. I
also posted answers and the name of the winner. That's
it, Tiger. 

Conversely, it seems like quite a few people here
can't go a week without mentioning my name. 

Having said all that, it does warm my heart to see my
honor and reputation defended - as Coach Brett and
Philly Jack did - whenever I'm attacked or the victim
of a cheap shot. Nuff said.

Quite a few people in my club are still subscribed to
FBO. Do I like it? Nope. But the fact that they are
active here *and* inside my group disproves your claim
above that "this entire group looks down on people
just because they're on FBO." Self loathing?

Jeremy continued:
I've talked to enough people to know that I am one of
the most hated people in that little exclusive forum
and will never be welcome there. 

Billy replies:
Jeremy, I've known you for a long time. Trust me on
this one - 99.9 percent of the people in my club have
*never* mentioned your name in any way, shape or form.
I would also wager good money that a fair amount of
them don't even know who you are, let alone "hate"
you. Contact me privately to discuss.

Jeremy spoke on FBO today:
And I am fine with that. I wouldn't want to be part of
a group who looks down on everyone else and brags
about their little exclusive rights that they have,
their first dibs on some recent-surfaced boots that
are exclusively traded within the group, with rules
forbidding people to leak them out onto FBO under
penalty of being banned from the group. Beleive me,
I'm not stupid, I know enough people to know what goes
on there and what has been said about me. 

Billy replied:
Jeremy, darling, these "friends" of yours that are
keeping you informed? They're lying to you. Your name
is *never* mentioned in my club. And you're doing a
bit of fibbing yourself - I lurk here on FBO and have
done so for a while and I have *never* seen anyone in
my club post to FBO "bragging" about "first dibs on a
recent surfaced boot..." 

In other words, you're delusional and paranoid, and
someone's playing your insecurity like a game.

But I'm sorry, can anyone say hoarding? I applaud the
members of the list who have managed to leak things
out onto FBO, and I am thankful that there are still
good people out there who don't beleive in any of this
exclusive "look down on the clueless idiots." type BS
in which this so-called exclusive club encourages and
to an extent- requires.

There's a difference between giving people "first
dibs" and hoarding.

Is it that it is a private club that bugs me? Hell no-
I'm all for that.

Billy:
For someone's who's "all for that" you sure take up a
lot of bandwidth railing about it.

Jeremy:
What I get sick and tired of is the slamming of
people on FO for the sole fact that they are on FBO. 

Billy:
Dude, shame on me, but I tend to judge people by the
company they keep. Nuff said.

Jeremy:
While you're at it, tell us your opinion of "niggers"
and "gooks" And the "frogs" and what do you think of
the "bitches?" It's the same thing really.

Billy:
Ah, hello? No, it isn't. Being prejudiced against
stupid people with nothing interesting to say, or
pompous people who put themselves across as experts
when in reality they know *nothing*, is a hell of a
lot different than racism, Tiger. 

You're right about one thing - I'm a total snob when
it comes to Led Zeppelin. If you want to hang here and
exchange pleasantries with the likes of LZ Pig and
"Timex" Von (It's 10:26am EST, darling. There's your
time of day. Happy?), knock yourself out.

But as for my "prejudices" and the allegations of
racism above, well, you should stick to talking about
Jorman Kaukonen.

.... I always enjoyed Billy's posts on FBO to an
extent, other times I didn't because it wwas so
obvious that it was his way of slamming people and
disguising it was humor.

Billy:
Took you this long to figure that one out, eh? Not the
swiftest runner in the race, are you, Tiger?
