Yes. The story is that he was approached by two
guys who said they had a bunch of tapes of live
shows and studio outtakes for sale. Mr Scorpio
(not his real name) couldn't afford the asking
price but did offer to pay the two guys to make
copies. The tapes were all in different formats.
Some were multi-track, some were half inch two
track, etc. He had to find a studio with all the
different capabilities to be able to transfer
them to DAT. The tapes included the Hampton 71
and Toronto 71 sbs on two track, the 72 Long
Beach show on multi-track, the Jennings Farm
Blues tape and all the outtakes that were on
Studio Daze.
