The two Tea Party bonus tracks on my Feelin Groovy Disc 3 have numerous
clicks and pops that are quite annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?
All of Zep's performance is free of faults, so I'm not going to ask for a
clean Disc 3 - I'm very happy with my copy of the show.
However, I will ask for a few private responses from anyone who might have a
significant number of Tea Party shows. Of particular interest is their
performance at Barrie, Ontario's Molson Park on July 1, 2001.
I nearly flipped when I saw "Led Zeppelin IV - 2001" listed on Amazon.com,
only to find out that it's just the whole untitled album covered by some
band I've never heard of. They also did "The Wall - 2000" (it might have
been Dark Side of the Moon...it was a couple days ago).
Which brings me to the question I asked a few weeks ago about the supposed
30th anniversary re-issue of the fourth album with bonus tracks...has anyone
heard anything?
Along the same lines...how about "No Quarter/Unledded" on DVD? Any news? I
saw a VCD copy for sale on Ebay for around $30, which seems like a bit of a
stretch.
To wind up the lengthy post, I'd like to say that I'm really enjoying the
Page/Plant New Orleans show that was recently treed. I only have one other
98 show - a boot called "Flying Dreamers" from 7/14/98 or thereabouts - but
the sound is less than great on those discs. The WiC songs are quite
impressive when stacked along their Zeppelin counterparts, but that's just
my opinion.
Thanks,
Wyatt
