Celebration EC Video

Well the new Earls Court video has hit the streets in
Canada and here's a few observations I've had about
it:

1) The footage that the people at Celebration obtained
for there use is about 140 minutes and the rest of the
footage is spliced in from the Holy Eye DVD release.

2) The segments from the Holy Eye video are not just
parts of the show like a song here and there, but it
is parts of a song.

3) Yes. The Holy Eye log is on the screen for the
"Holy Eye" segments used in the video. This way you
can compare the quality of the holy eye footage to the
celebration footage.

4) The picture and sound quality of the celebration
footage is a noticeable upgrade of the holy eye
footage. There is a bit overkill with some of the
colours on the celebration issue.

5) On the package, the videocasette shells are clear,
(like the RAH video). This would be one good clue to
tell if the copy offered to you is an original and not
a duplicate. If someone offers you the video and the
colour of the videocassettes themselves are black, you
are being offered a copy, not an original.

6)The bonus CD. The Song Remains The Same/Rain Song,
Kashmir, No Quarter, Tangerine (cut and fades out) is
from a videosource of May 25, 1975. Similar quality to
what we have heard in previous issues of the May 24,
1975 audio.

Well there's a decription of the tape. If you wish to
invest the $100+ in the original, that's your shot to
call. Some serious collectors will find this OK as
they have payed more than that for an audience tape of
a show on CD. Rather than bore you with my comments of
the performance, I just wanted to give an objective
opinion of the tape.
