Speaking of vinyl, yet again, The smell is nothing compared to metal
acetate's.
Which brings me too the next topic....
I have one last LP to add to my original list of must have's. It has
escaped me for, easily, 16+ years. The title is, Let Zip Hell In.
It's a
picture disc of the Vancouver 70 show and a reissue of Pb. If anyone
has
this and is willing to part with it, let me know.
Hell, at this point, I'd like to see color picture's of both sides,
just to
prove it exists.
I have to say, that I have pieces in my collection that are
supposedly much
more rare than this is. In 20+ years of collecting Zep boots I have
never
seen this, except in books. I've even seen The Final Option, couldn't
afford
it, but I've seen it.
Now, getting back to the original topic. The last vinyl Zep boot
that I
bought was early last year. The title is, San Francisco 69. Labeled
as being
Jan. 9, 69, it's actually April 24, 69.
I knew this though as a good friend bought this many years ago and I
always
wanted a copy after that. I paid $10 for it.
Also, for some reason, I have never seen this listed in any of the
boot
guides. Anyone know the scoop on this title? (e.g., how many
produced, what
it's origins are, etc, etc.?)
It has, what I call, a Middle Eastern type font. As I recall, the
graphic's
are black and white, possibly 3 or 4 colors. I would have to dig it
out to
be positive though.
