Few thoughts

1. Processed a special order for a Chris Barbero today at work.
Didn't want
to start a conversation if he wasn't the FBO Chris Barbero. That
would mean
meaningless chat with a customer, something which I want to have no
part of.
2. Sat next to "LedBoots" at the 1998 Page and Plant concert in
Portland. He
did not steal anything from me.
3. Any recordings or pics turn up from the JPJ show in Portland? My
photo's
did not turn out.
4. Ever notice how the concert scenes from TSRTS that were done on a
sound
stage are horribly more obvious when you're high?
5. I re-read an old interview with Page that mentioned the band
Kaleidoscope
as being his favorite at the time. Bought their first album yesterday
and
it's quite enjoyable.
6. I'm still looking for a copy of the 4/27/69 show that was tree'd.
This was
my very first bootleg and I'd like to have a cd copy, especially with
the
gaps filled.
7. Because of financial reasons I had to back out of the Mp3 tree.
Would any
kind soul be willing to burn all of the discs for me. I have a few
things to
trade and/or blanks.
8. I finally broke out of my Zeppelin funk by focusing on someone
else in the
songs besides Jimmy. I'm a guitar player every once and a while and
he's
always been my favorite member of the band. Anyway, I just focused in
on
Bonzo's drumming and heard the songs in yet another new way. Also
broke my
dry spell and smoked a little audio enhancer. "No Quarter" is the
best
smoke-and-listen song in Zep's catalog.
9. My cousin and his sons died in a car accident in Stillwater, OK a
few
weeks ago. In the off chance that anyone on the list is from OK and
heard
about this, thank you for being one of the 300+ cars in the
procession.
10. After listening to a ton of other classic rock bands, some new to
my ears
due to a effort to expand my education of rock music, I'm more amazed
than
ever on how incredible Led Zeppelin's music really was. No other
band/performer ever came close, ever.
11. It's not so hard to get to ten when you're high, after 6 you've
forgotton
about writing the first few anyway.
