Hey Les (& FBO)-
While this is a very nice MD source I'd have to take the "+" off the
9 SR.
The MD'er did a fantastic job getting up front and getting a complete
show.
While sound ratings are variable according to each listener I tend to
be
complimentary towards a recording that I enjoy. I've listed the GSiC
show
a solid "9" on my list. This is an excellent performance by the SS,
maybe the
best of the brief U.S. tour but I reserve judgement until I hear
Toronto and
a better Detroit source.

Anyway as was mentioned, the end of disc 1 and begining of disc 2 has
some mid/high end distortion but this apparently due to the mix and
not the recording level. It clears on disc 2 and settles back down
into
a great show. Also, disc 2 is a little left channel heavy unless I
blew and
ear
drum trying to crank it up. ;-) (which is very possible)...

Overall an enjoyable show and should make a fine tree, esp with the
great pics for the artwork. Good luck gentleman.
Hat's off to the MD'er for sticking his neck out and capturing this
gig.
Not bad for a virgin. =:-o

Now who's got the DC and NYC SS vhs in a low gen?
Come on, I'll make it worth your while...
