New Zeppelin DVD's

I received my new DVD's today! Great service! Thanks goes
out to Mark...and Bruce for the direction here a couple of
weeks ago. For those wondering, there will be 6 volumes of
Zep DVD produced by this channel. The first two, "1969" &
"1970-1972" are available now, if they aren't sold out.
This is a project I think we would all undertake if we had
the time & resources to produce. Clearly one of those
"labor of love" projects.
Full color cover art, professionally produced. Very nice
menus & photo labels on the discs themselves. They look
great!

This is a good way to get all the current video in these
periods in one shot. I have to say, I would be completely
"creamin' my jeans" if I had not purchased the recently
issued Hercules Videos("The Film Remains The Same"
compilation & "Danish TV"). Honestly, those vids are a
little better in quality with the "like" material they
present. But!...if you don't own any of these, or your
copies are a poor generation....snap these DVD's up!

"1969" features:
Communication Breakdown promo
Danish TV March 17,1969
Staines, England March 25,1969 ("Supershow")
Paris TV June 19, 1969
Whole Lotta Love -Beat Club '69

"1970-1972" features:
Royal Albert Hall January 9, 1970
The Julie Felix Show April 26, 1970
Honolulu September 6, 1970 (silent 8mm film)
Sydney February 27, 1972
Australia Press Party '72
Amsterdam May 27, 1972 (arrival and snipet of "Immigrant
Song")
Live on-stage 1972 (silent 16mm film, possible newsreel
footage of unkown location, venue.)

Now that I have received these, I cannot wait for the next
chapters as they will certainly feature more material that I
do not already possess. Bring 'em on!

Oh yes, an afterthought....
I cannot believe noone has mentioned the new Empress Valley
title "Black Velvet"! Here's a show that features the very
first perfomance of "Stairway.." and not even an inquiry.
Well, I should have mine in the next day, or so and I'll be
happy to share my thoughts on this highly anticipated
release (at least from where I sit!).
