Re: Aerosmith

Well, I've listened to a lot of zep boots over the years and I can
safely say that they have not come close to how bad Aerosmith
performed on the two nights that I saw them. I was a big Aerosmith
fan. They were probably my second favorite band at the time. They
sucked. I'm not saying this was typical or that they didn't improve
after they cleaned up but I can safely say that they were the two
worst concerts I have seen. Period. Imagine Page "smacked out" and
Plant too drunk to stand up. That's what Perry and Tyler were like,
I'm not sure the rest of the band even cared, it was awful.

hey, i know i'm going to make some enemies with my next statement.
but as
far as sloopy and pathatic. come on!! we all have boots of 75 thru 80
of
zep. and if you cant say the same about them at times you are jaded by
your love for zep..
now dont get me wrong, i love the band and have for over 25 years. i
wouldn't been on this list if i didn't.
but it brings tears to my eyes sometimes when i dig out the boots of
their later concerts and hearing pagey smacked out of his mind. he
sounded awful. it really did make me cry. to see such a gifted artist
loose what came naturally to him. and then with plant being horse all
the
time. he just couldn't get it up..
i'm sure robert listens to the boots as well and maybe thats why he
doesn't want to reunite. he doesn't want to kill the beast..
sorry guys but thats my opinion.
hope i dont burn in hell..
