RE: U2 are [not] crap

What's up with this dude (and the others who agreed with him)?
Bashing a
band? Come on. I figured everyone on this list would be an
appreciator of
music, whether they like it or not. Just because YOU don't like a
band
doesn't mean others DO like them. For instance, I don't like the
Dead; more
so because I haven't heard much of their works. And if I didn't like
them,
I'm not gonna write a list with a message saying 'The Dead are
crap!'. Cuz
music is all a matter of opinion. You (it's obvious) don't like U2,
but
there are MANY people that do. Yes, they have varied over the years
during
their Pop and albums like that. I didn't necessarily get into them,
but
nonetheless I am a U2 fan and think they are great. I also think the
Dead
are great, yet I have NEVER heard anything by them, and if I did hear
something, I didn't know. I also REALLY don't like the new
Metallica, but
they sell out their shows, so they must be good. So why don't we all
quit
out 'band bashing' and get onto the better things in
life...........BOOT
TRADING! You all with me? Or how about a Plant SS tree, or something
better than bashing on a band that many other people obviously like.

Peace Out,
Jeff

Bullshit. The dead were plain and uninspiring? This is some big
fucking
news to me. BTW, it's their.

I think the Dead were quite a bit more inventive with jams than
Zeppelin.
Zep did type I, guitar-lead jamming (with a few exceptions)... the
Dead
would at times completely break away from the structure.

Defender of all things jammon,
