RE: Roseland Show

I also enjoyed the show and witnessed the a guy pasing out butt naked
no
less. I personally felt the show could have been longer and better.
 would
have like to hear more of his solo stuff from Fate or Manic. I feel
Page
and Crowes performed a better show. Not that I am trying to compare,
but....

I'm a Digester; I'm sure someone else has already posted (or will) a
complete review, including setlist, so I won't bother. (I couldn't
name
some of the old nuggets, anyway). Suffice it to say the show was
inspiring:

Robert is in very good voice. He must be warming up backstage. He
came
damn close on the high notes in MMH and WLL. And as others have
noted, he
really seems to be having a blast up there. Big smiles throughout.

In The Light was the highlight for me. I've always loved the song,
and this
was a real nice rendition: faithful without being rote.

Good crowd behavior in that I only heard one yell for "TEN YEARS!!!!"
and
none for StH. Poor behavior included the three passout victims in my
immediate vicinity (total faceplants, dragged out: great way to
appreciate
a show) and the boisterous jackasses near Stage Left who shouted
through the
entire last ballad (Song of the Siren?) to each other about their
camera
skills. Hey, Fat Boy (in the unlikely event you're on the list):
may you
contract a painful cancer. Soon.

If anyone out there was turned off by POB and planning to skip SS:
Don't.
This is a whole different animal. Much more energy, better set list,
a
totally different vibe. This is a tight, hard-rocking show.

Holy Cow, do I hope this show is treed. Heck, I can't wait - if
anyone is
willing to burn me 2 sets of the show I'll throw in a Cohiba Robusto
with my
2/1.

ps - MTV reports Plant plans to record with SS in the Fall, and to
tour
extensively after that. Here-
