Hi,

I just wrote my answer to this Ronen Reinheimer when I read his other 
posts.  Is this guy for real?  He is an insult to this Led Zep forum.  
Who would want such a fan? 

I seriously doubt Jimmy and Robert would feel comfortable with such a 
fan.  As musicians, they tried to broaden their scope with all kinds of 
musical styles and incorporated these into their own, inimitable way.  
And most of their fans do share the same qualities, a wide variety of 
tastes.  Makes for a richer life - IMHO

I intended to answer just him - without anoying anyone else on this 
list.  But the guy just struck a cord here (if that's what he intended 
to do, he succeeded).  So I decided to make my response public.  Sorry 
for the waste of time.

What Led Zep and the Stones are to me doesn't imply they have to be to 
everybody.

I was asked my opinion.  I gave it and  I will not retract it.

My opinion insults you, I'm truly sorry.  But THAT problem is YOURS, not 
mine.

I have seen various opinions posted to the question of 2nd best.  I 
found the diversity of the opinions to be quite interesting. Some of the 
bands mentioned I do like too, others I don't. But I would never feel 
compelled to demand from someone to "retract" his opinion.  Opinions on 
an internet forum are not be liked or disliked, they are just 
informations
on something else that may or may not be interesting.  From all the 
things I read I try to use the things I feel might benefit me, and 
simply forget about the rest.  Life's just too short to be wasted on 
useless rumblings.  Beware of "integrism" in any form: religion, race or 
musical tastes.

Thanks for trying to save my face.  But I'm afraid you just lost yours.
