I saw the two of them on SNL, saw Pagey there and Puffy in his leather
thugness... I didn't mind it so much. It sounded like Kashmir but had
Puffy's heart and that's alright. He was strong about it, he showed his bit
of versatility by sounding rockish, and Pagey just played along and enjoyed
it and seemed very friendly at the end credits of the show hugging
everyone... it turns a lot of rap fans on to classic rock. Some people
think it's all bastardized and such (where did I hear that term?) but Come
With Me, compared to Puffy's crappy version of Every Breath You Take sucked,
to me....
Oh, and I do get angry at my friend Carrie when she says she loves Puffy's
version but hates Led Zeppelin and she's never actually heard the original...
she probably wouldn't dig the epic feel in it either... her loss!
