A major Led Zeppelin celebration is to be held in Reykjavik in October.
The event will commemorate Zep's one and only performance in Iceland and
will include an exhibition of rare photographs taken before, during and
after the historic show at the Laugardalsholl on June 22nd 1970.

UK tribute band Simply Led will play afternoon and evening shows on
Saturday 6th October 2001.  Support at both shows will come from
Icelandic bands that were on the scene at the time of Led Zeppelin's
visit and who are still active and popular today.

Plans are also being made for Simply Led to follow up with two further
Reykjavik concerts at different venues on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th
October.
